Our Purpose
MISSION:
The New Home Council is an independent team of industry professionals working together to meet the changing needs of the new home building industry through education, promotion and recognition.
OBJECTIVE:
The Council will serve as the eyes, ears and voice for members involved in all aspects of the housing industry, ensuring members access to high quality professional, accurate and timely economic information from a dedicated team of industry experts.
ACTIVITIES:
The New Home Council provides valuable resources that will help you understand today’s market and prepare for the future. Our overriding drive is to help builders sell new homes more effectively.
| • | We will help tell the true story of the value of new homes everywhere it needs to be heard: with buyers, elected officials and the media. |
| • | We will provide tools to improve our professional skills such as seminars, webinars, workshops and continuing education. |
| • | We will encourage increased participation in professional competency programs such as MIRM and CSP. |
| • | We will celebrate achievements of the people in our industry through meaningful recognition programs. |
| • | We will work with local jurisdictions to create uniform local signage programs. |

Do You Have a Cause That is Important to You?
The New Home Council listens to its members, and if you have an idea, a suggestion, or even a cause that you care about, come talk to us!
One of our members, for example, is heading a special, little committee to talk to the multiple about some possible rule changes that could help new construction listing agents. Other thoughts concerning education or special programs or something you would like to see happen are more than welcome.
