Amazing isn't it? This Social Media wave has quickly turned into a tsunami...overtaking the Real Estate Industry. I had a friend who was a Real Estate Agent about 5 years ago. I remember when he started talking about his plan to use MySpace to sell real estate. He was speaking to people who had been in the business forever, hahaha...we laughed the poor guy out of the room! Keep in mind... at this time I had not even heard of Facebook. I shuttered to think that MySpace could be used to grow a Real Estate business in any way shape or form. At that time, my knowledge of MySpace was provocative photo's posted by single members, Mobster game applications, band promotion pages and re-connecting with old high school friends. He was about 21 at the time and was sharing his plans to a group of almost thirty-somethings...yikes!! Looking back at his vision...we were the fools, not him. I wonder where he's at now?

In 2008 NAR(National Association of Realtors) did a benchmark study based on technology. It proved that Blogging was the least used vehicle by agents, to stay in touch with their past clients. As a matter of fact, it fell dead last conceding to #1-Email, Snail Mail and Telephone Calls. However...Blogging was the most effective method...actually more effective by approximately 30%.

This was 2 years ago...imagine these statistics today. The industry has moved this direction already...it's no longer on the horizon...it has arrived.

As a lender I wanted to provide an added service to my referral partners. I offer a Social Networking Program to my clients, which I created using my previous experience as a New Construction Site Agent. This is a hands on...individual coaching system which will tailor fit online networking, blogging and video-blogging to meet your specific goals.

Check it out...and contact me if you are interested in getting more info on this program.
